Moments that I had in Amsterdam

Really really nice displayed shop, still not figure out what kind of shop it is. They sell clothes, lights, furniture, stationary and all of them will create a feeling of warm home.

This is the entrance, I was really intrigued by the display and I regret that forget to jot down the address and shop name. :(
I will write every single things that I have experienced while travelling next time.
I guess dutch people like very large windows. And I love them.

Amsterdam is famous for the china tile and other products with hand drawn blue floral pattern. I like all kinds of blue and white combinations :D Sea and spindrift, sky and clouds
Really want to have a set of these on my dinning table.

How lucky to see a double rainbow in the last day staying in Amsterdam.

De Tarrt van m'n Tante|Fancy cakes in Amsterdam

The interior of De Taart van mijn Tante('My Auntie's Cakes') is as fancy as their cakes, makes you feel like being in a birthday party of children. Pink walls, floral patterned table cloth, colourful crochet sofa and carpets everywhere. But they won't distract you, the cakes are looked nice and tasted nice too. Yes they serve classics like cheesecake, pie and tart. But! In Taart van mijn Tante, there is a theory of choosing cakes: the more awkward colour/flavour, the more delicious cake you enjoy.

I tried green pea, and its definitely better than their strawberry cakes. Sorry, its too enjoyable that I forgot to take photos.

DROOG|Dutch design super-humans

Started in 1993 when Renny Ramakers and Gijs Bakker exhibited about a dozen Dutch designers , the amsterdam-base design gallery/shop/collective/office(opened in 2004) known as Droog which means "dry" in Dutch.

This is the most arty furniture shop that I have seen so far in my life, either the interior and the products are showing of  their witty design ,while they are idiosyncratic and at the same time unexpectedly functional.
